Clustered Hyper-V virtual machines-This release adds cluster-to-cluster support for guest-level protection for Hyper-V virtual machines, including virtual machines on CSV clusters.

For example, you can select multiple virtual machines to failover or reverse at the same time. After these jobs are created, you can control them separately or in groups.

Protection for all of the selected virtual machines is completed with one trip through the workflow, saving you time and reducing the chance of errors.

Virtual to virtual protection for Hyper-V virtual machines-You can now select multiple virtual machines on a source Hyper-V host to protect to a target Hyper-V host.

* Double-Take Foundation license-This release addresses an issue with creating jobs using a Double-Take Foundation edition license.

* Creating a job with a service account-This release addresses an issue where a communication error could occur when using a service account to create a job.

Double-Take Availability improvements-The following improvements apply to Double-Take Availability protection jobs.

Windows 8-This release includes initial support for the Windows 8 beta release.

Flat disks-This release now supports flat disks for ESX 5.

If you were using the Replication Console, the Application Manager, or the Double-Take Move Console you should now use the Double-Take Console. Double-Take Console workflows-The Double-Take Console now provides workflows for all protection and migration scenarios, reducing the number of consoles, improving and simplifying your job.

This software is entirely worth the $25, and then some, for what it does.Double-Take Availability and Double-Take Move version 6.0.0, June 20, 2012 The software has performed flawlessly in nearly all of my attempts, and gives you a wealth of control over how each image is processed without making it seem overly complicated. Since then, I've used it to redo some older panoramas and so forth I had made, and to finish some that I'd never been able to complete due to PhotoStitch being unable to handle it. A quick search lead me to DoubleTake, which I installed and immediately, I was able to combine the sections of each scan to make a perfect picture. PhotoStitch got hopelessly confused trying to deal with all the horizontal lines on the page. The music was written on large pieces of paper and I had to scan each document in sections. Relatively well, that is, until recently when I was scanning some sheet music for my roommate's father.

Despite the increasing age of PhotoStitch, it has served relatively well. For years, I've used Canon's PhotoStitch app, which came with a printer I'd bought long ago, to create panoramas and stitch pictures together.
